Dubai has welcomed a new Italian concept which has launched with two restaurants.
Opening at Sheikh Zayed Road and The Walk in Jumeirah Beach Residences, Buono Buono from National Trading & Developing Enterprises (NTDE) aims to offer traditional Italian dishes with contemporary flair.
NTDE Director of Restaurants Manlio Trabucco said: “Italian food is loved all the world over because of its simplicity, its freshness and its flavour - this is comfort food at its finest and gathering around the table for a meal is life at its best. We wanted to take this concept of cosy dining and do a contemporary riff with twice the passion, energy and fun. It’s an abundance of good food to spark good times and conversations that is at the heart of the Italian dining experience that we will bring you at Buono Buono.”
An Italian national, Trabucco was intimately involved in the concept creation of Buono Buono to ensure it brings a genuine Italian experience to customers.
Pizzas are crafted in a traditional woodfired oven, with classic flavours like margherita and four cheese to more modern inventions including pizza al tartufo with buffalo mozzarella topped with mushrooms and black truffle or the potato pizza with turkey ham, mozzarella, potatoes, and parmesan.
The wide variety of pastas includes the pappardelle alla Genovese and tortelli di burrata, while the signature dessert is a pistachio cheesecake.
NTDE is the proprietor and operator behind American restaurant Bronson and Filipino venue Kinahon.
